Despite a strong start as a junior player emerging from the JustineHenin Tennis Academy in Belgium, Zhuk found her career hurt.

His last professional match came in a first-round qualifying loss at Wimbledon in 2019, and back injuries brought an untimely end to Zhuk’s tennis career the following year, aged just 20.
