The Kent Cricket Volunteer Awards 2023 celebrate the efforts of those whose hard work and dedication to the game at grassroots level is invaluable to recreational cricket across the county.
Each year, Kent Cricket recognizes volunteers in a number of different categories at county level, before nominating award winners for the ECB’s National Volunteer Awards, known this year as ‘The Cricket Collective Awards’.
This year there are nominees in 11 categories recognizing the individuals, clubs, competitions, organizations and associations that make our game great for everyone who plays it – see below for the main themes:
- Connecting communities.
- Young volunteers (under 25).
- Lifelong achievers and unsung heroes.
- Inspire people to play and grow the game.
- Innovators with new ideas to improve the game or fight climate change.
- Ground staff who improve our venues.
If you would like to nominate a volunteer in your club or nominate your club or organization in their volunteer work, please fill out the form using the button below. Tell us about all the volunteers you’d like to recognize and we’ll assign them a category so we can reward as many volunteers as possible.

Winners are invited to attend our volunteer day and enjoy the hospitality at the Spitfire Ground St Lawrence on Wednesday 27th September, the second day of Kent’s LV=Insurance County Championship vs Lancashire match where there will be an awards ceremony.
