Win not one, but 13 medals was the Egyptian Paralympic team on the second day of the Jordan International Paralympic Table Tennis Championships. The team of 14 players won a total of 13 medals in men’s and women’s singles, including two gold, seven silver and four bronze.
This was part of a three-day tournament held from the 1st to the 3rd. June and where 118 players from 17 countries including Algeria, Canada, Iraq, Jordan, South Korea, Slovakia and Bulgaria competed for the gold medal. The entire tournament is part of the qualifying rounds for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which will be held from August 28 to September 8.
