The parade was delayed by heavy rain and lightning, but tens of thousands of fans showed up
Thousands of Manchester City fans gathered to celebrate their team’s historic treble as they staged an open-top bus parade through the city.
Blue flares were lit and fans threw inflatable bananas into the air as several players went shirtless in the pouring rain.
Manager Pep Guardiola was seen puffing on a cigar as fans climbed lampposts.
Guardiola said: “We had to get rain because this is Manchester. The fans are used to rain.”
It comes after the club won the Premier League and FA Cup this season.
Guardiola said his side’s Champions League success after Rodri’s 68th-minute goal was “written in the stars”.

A drenched Guardiola was later seen pumping his fists at the crowd as the players presented all three trophies.
Defender Ruben Dias and forward Erling Haaland were among several players who went shirtless after being drenched in rain.
Haaland, 22, led the dancers onto the stage just after 20:00 BST as midfielder Kalvin Phillips serenaded England defender John Stones.
Guardiola praised the fans for coming out in storms.
He said: “We had to have the best parade in this rain, otherwise it’s not Manchester.
“We don’t want sunshine, we want rain, so it was perfect. The fans are used to rain.”

Captain Ilkay Gundogan said it was “unbelievable” that they had “three trophies”.
England midfielder Jack Grealish said: “The last 24 hours have been the best day and night I’ve had.
“To be honest, I don’t think I’ve slept.”
The group had left Tonman Street in Deansgate a little late at 19:00 BST due to stormy weather and made their way to St Mary’s Gate.

The delays did not dampen the spirits of the fans.
Zoro and his family said they were looking forward to seeing Guardiola, Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden.

He said: “This will go down in history for us. Pep has just re-engineered the world of football. It’s a big statement but it’s true.”
The parade passed through Cross Street and King Street before ending at the corner of Princess Street and Portland Street.

Zoro said Guardiola “just redesigned the world of football”.
City became only the second English men’s team to win the Treble, following in the footsteps of rivals Manchester United, who achieved the feat in 1999 under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Fans welcomed the team back to Manchester Airport on Sunday after traveling from Istanbul, where the European final was played.

Former City boss Joe Royle said Guardiola’s current squad was one of the best English football has ever seen.
Royle, 74, who led the club from the third tier to the Premier League after back-to-back promotions in 1999 and 2000, said: “There’s no doubt about it. They’re one of, if not the best English club team there’s been.”
