CPA adventurer Crews Law and brother Cade commit to North Carolina football

Christ Presbyterian Academy linebacker Crews Law and his brother Cade committed to North Carolina on Monday after a weekend visit to Chapel Hill.

Crews will be a senior this fall. Cade comes to UNC as a transfer from Vanderbilt, where he signed to play baseball out of high school in 2021.

Cade is expected to be the primary walk-on 247 Sports.

Crews, a three-star linebacker, led CPA last season with 101 tackles, including 76 solo stops. He had offers from USC, Wisconsin, Stanford and Ole Miss, among others.

Cade Law entered the transfer portal in April. He had committed to Vanderbilt in baseball as a catcher after CPA’s 2021 season, where he was also a quarterback. He helped the Lions win the Division II-AA football state championship in 2020 and followed that up in 2021 with 2,467 yards passing, 530 rushing and 36 touchdowns.

Cade is also expected to play linebacker at UNC.
