The Brazilian soccer team wore black shirts instead of yellow for the first time against racism.
In Saturday’s friendly against Guinea in Barcelona, the Brazilian team played the entire first half in dark colors – and took a knee before changing back to their bright kits.
It comes after the player Vinicius Jr was subjected to racist abuse when Real Madrid took on Valencia In a Spanish league match in May.
The 22-year-old Brazilian-born player was red-carded for violent behavior during the game at Valencia’s Mestalla ground when he was furious and pointed out that he had been taunted by supporters.

Real Madrid later filed a hate crime complaint With the Spanish prosecutors after their 1-0 defeat. The Spanish Football Federation RFEF later revoked the red card.
Valencia was ordered to close the southern division of Mario Kempeswhere the alleged abuse took place, for five matches, and were fined €45,000 (£39,000) by the RFEF.
The incident on May 21 was not the first time Vinicius – or those close to him – have been subjected to racist abuse while playing in La Liga, the latest of which was allegedly directed at a friend of Vinicius before the match at Espanyol’s stadium on Saturday.

Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, said: “The fight against racism, a crime that must be stopped all over the world, is also why we are here.
“That’s why our national team also played the first half of the match in black. And today, yet another criminal was exposed in public.”

Both Brazil and Guinea also posed in front of a banner that read “racism has no game”.
Spanish police arrested three people in Valencia In connection with racial slurs thrown at the Brazilian striker after a game in May.
In February, the 20-year-old fan was fined €4,000 (£3,420), banned from stadiums for a year and had his membership of Mallorca’s football club revoked for three years after another incident in which Vinicius was racially abused.
Real Valladolid also suspended 12 season ticket holders while investigating alleged verbal abuse towards the player.
