USA pacer Kyle Phillip has been suspended from bowling in international cricket immediately after the ICC incident panel confirmed that the fast bowler had used illegal bowling. Phillip was part of the USA team for the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Zimbabwe. and had started the event quickly with three wickets in his team’s opening match against the West Indies.
“The 26-year-old was announced by the match umpires after his team’s ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup qualifier against the West Indies on June 18,” the International Cricket Council (ICC) said in a statement.
The US fast bowler has been banned from bowling in international cricket.

“The Incident Panel reviewed the match footage of Phillip’s bowling and determined that he engaged in illegal bowling activity and was therefore banned from bowling in international cricket under Article 6.7 of the Rules,” the statement said.
Phillip’s suspension will remain in place until he agrees to a re-evaluation of his bowling, which concludes that his bowling is legal.
The USA have lost their first three matches in Cricket World Cup qualifying, with a five-point loss to the Netherlands in Harare on Thursday leaving them bottom of Group A ahead of their final group game against Zimbabwe on Monday.
