Michigan football currently has 24 commitments in the 2024 class and is looking to potentially grow to over 30 this recruiting cycle.
While the Wolverines already have plenty of big fish in the Ann Arbor pond — QB Jadyn Davis, TE Brady Prieskorn, RB Jordan Marshall, S Jacob Oden, WR I’Marion Stewart and more — there are still big fish to fry. .
The Maize and Blue are among two five-star prospects — DT Justin Scott and WR Ryan Wingo — and several high-profile four-star players. A lot of decisions will be made in the coming days — OT Michael Uini, CB Terhyon Nichols, S Jordon Johnson-Rubell, CB Jameer Grimsley, EDGE Elias Rudolph — while WR Jordan Shipp and CB Aaron Scott will make decisions over the next month. . For others, commitment dates have not yet been set.

Copperas Cove (Tx.) four-star OT Michael Uini
Overview
Uini impressed on his official visit to Ann Arbor, but then looked to be Michigan’s loser. There were rumors of a quiet commitment, there were several predictions regarding the corn and blue, but after the visit Georgia, things changed in a hurry. It would be questionable if he ends up in the class, which is shocking considering two weeks ago his name was set in stone.

Overview
Another Michigan football recruit seemed to be in the driver’s seat, as it was apparently a Michigan vs. Penn State fight. Palepale was rumored to want to stay close to home and appeared to favor Ann Arbor over State College. However, USC has risen late.

Overview
An elite player who has kept things close to the vest. He visited Ann Arbor on June 9. It was believed to be Michigan vs. Ohio State in battle, but when he visited Texas Last, the Longhorns seemed to take control.

Overview
Last visited Ann Arbor on June 23rd. No one seems to have a good idea of what he’s thinking or what he’s going to do. Thought to be between Michigan, Alabamaand Florida. The prevailing thought is that he’ll pick Alabama, but we’re shocked (though our confidence level is low on said prediction).

Overview
An Ohio product with an Ohio State offer, he hasn’t been prioritized in Columbus to the same level as Aaron Scott. Michigan has impressed and the Wolverines have been successful, but it feels like he’s going to go south rather than north of the border.

Overview
Michigan football teammate commits Jadyn Davis and Channing Goodwin, Shipp picks Wolverines and North Carolina and NC State. UNC looks to be making a big push and could very well win, but the stakes of playing a teammate in Ann Arbor may be too much to overcome.

Overview
It’s a battle between Michigan, Ohio State and Oregon. Oregon is his childhood favorite, even though he grew up in the heart of the Buckeye State. His father is a die-hard OSU fan, and he committed on his father’s birthday — not a good sign for the other two schools. Still, there’s plenty of optimism in Ann Arbor. A source told WolverinesWire, speaking on condition of anonymity, that Scott has told current players and is committed to becoming a Wolverine. The odds of him ending up in Ann Arbor are still stacked, but he seems to prefer Michigan’s system. Wait and see.

Overview
2025 teammate Chris Ewald, it appears Patterson visited Ann Arbor last week and is rumored to have multiple return trips planned. It may take some time for him to decide, and Auburn, Ohio State, Miami and Florida State are involved. If he were to make a decision now, it looks like it could be the Maize and Blue.

Overview
Michigan seemed to be running behind Our Lady when Scott was scheduled to make a January decision but canceled his original commitment date. Then Miami rose. Now it looks like he wants to stay closer to home, and his official visit to Michigan couldn’t have gone any better. Rumors are swirling about Michigan, but it could be a while before he makes up his mind.

Overview
The fastest man in the Class of 2024, the Idaho product arrived in Ann Arbor for his final official visit weekend. Nebraska had seemed to make a move with his OV there, but it faded a bit after he came to watch Michigan football. Boise State, TCU and Oregon are also factors, but it looks good for the Maize and Blue. However, Bair will not be able to get to campus until 2026, as he will be leaving for his LDS mission before enrolling.

Overview
The nation’s top rated player is just 10 miles from Ann Arbor. He has seen Michigan several times and has developed a strong relationship with quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell. His visit to LSU seemed to knock it out of the park, and almost every big school is in play here. If Michigan opens up the offense with JJ McCarthy this year, it should seal the deal for an elite, dual-threat QB.
