For an hour and a half, the strongest representatives of the Russian national team of different generations delighted the audience with demonstration numbers in the Small Sports Arena. Kamila Valieva appeared in a new snow-white dress and skated to “Dancing on Glass”. In the lyrical picture, Evgenia Medvedeva performed under the musical composition “High”, and Mark Kondratyuk preferred “Districts-Quarters” of the group “Beasts”.

Alexandra Trusova performed under her own song “Two Wings”, which was written for her birthday. This issue became one of the most unexpected and daring. “My life is much more versatile now. There is development in other areas as well. But figure skating remains with me. I’ve been skating since I was three years old and I’ve never been so passionate about anything,” the skater. added.

Alina Zagitova chose a much more difficult sport for the test. If last year the girl boxed with Oleg Saitov, then this time she took part in the show’s duel with epee with Olympic champion Karina Aznavouryan.

“Boxing was a discovery for me last year, I started doing it myself for general development. I didn’t even think that I would box here. Now I was offered sparring with the Olympic champion in fencing, he gave me a master class. , but of course this was not enough,” Zagitova explained.

Evgenia Medvedeva refused to try out in Luzhniki, but she was happy to talk with fans after the demonstrations and told about her experience in skiing.

“Completely different muscles work there. If you go skiing, then you go out on the ice and tread the same way. That’s why skis are contraindicated for us. And then I decided that I have to take everything from life. I liked it, it’s great. This summer I’m going to to try wakeboarding. Let’s see if it works out,” Medvedeva said.

Evgenia also shared her impressions of the cooperation with Dynamo Moscow. Last season, the world champion interviewed players for the club channel. According to the skater, professional teamwork is foreign to him because he is a solo skater.

It should be noted that Luzhniki was not without unpleasant surprises. Consequently, the security service had to cancel Valieva’s and Trusova’s fan meetings and press broadcasts. As the organizers explained, this decision was made in order not to repeat the flare-ups that occurred when Shcherbakova appeared.

The evening ended with a big concert with famous performers including Sergey Lazarev, Lyusya Subbotina, Anatoli Tsoi, Niletto and Rita Dakota.
