2024 Internationals Announced | Sir

Following the international schedule published by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today, we are delighted to confirm the dates for four international matches to be played at Lord’s in 2024.

The men’s teams of Australia, Sri Lanka and the West Indies, as well as the women’s teams of New Zealand, will visit Cricket’s home theater next year.

The international summer at Lord’s begins in men’s cricket on Wednesday 10 July when England welcome the West Indies to Lord’s for the first leg of a three-match Test series.

This will be the West Indies’ first Test visit to St John’s Wood since 2017 and they will be eager to avoid the nine-wicket defeat inflicted by England that time.

The men’s opening Test of the summer is topped by the Women’s T20 International between England and New Zealand on Wednesday 17 July as both sides await the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup later this year in Bangladesh.

Attention turns to the touring Sri Lankans in August when the men’s second Test of the three-match series begins at Lord’s on Thursday 29 August. Sri Lanka’s last Test visit was a draw with England in 2016. The match will be remembered for Jonny Bairstow’s fantastic unbeaten 167.

We wrap up another huge summer of cricket on Friday 27 September when Australia’s men return to Lord’s to take on England in the fourth of five one-day internationals.

It’s great to add international matches to a schedule that also women’s cricket at regional, recreational and junior levels.”
