Eight Wolverines will compete in the US and UK championships

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Eight men and eight women from the University of Michigan track and field program will compete this week at the US and UK national championships. They will be competing for the chance to continue to represent their country in the global competition throughout the summer.

The list below is an overview of Michigan’s competitors at each meet, including when and how to track their progress.

The top three in each event who have reached the World Cup qualifying standard will be selected to represent the USA at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary in August.

The top two finishers in each event who have reached the World Cup qualifying standard are automatically eligible to represent Team Great Britain at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary in August, with an additional roster spot awarded at the discretion of British Athletics.
