The Anaheim Ducks Hockey Team announced the 30th anniversary jersey for the 2023-24 season

Newport Beach residents Henry and Susan Samueli, who have owned the Anaheim Ducks hockey team since 2005, will no doubt be pleased with the official unveiling of the team’s 30th anniversary 2023-24 third jersey at the 2023 NHL Draft in Nashville.

The Ducks’ second overall pick, Leo Carlsson, made the jersey’s first presentation to Ducks fans at the team’s official NHL draft party at the Brewery X Biergarten at the Honda Center using Proto, a patented hologram machine and platform that makes holoporting a reality.

The Protos holographic communication platform was used at the NHL Draft in Nashville to broadcast Leo Carlsson in real-time and life-size volumetric 4K as if he were in the room in an interactive experience with fans to introduce the new jersey to those at the Honda Center. in Anaheim.

According to press material, the Ducks became the first professional sports team to utilize an athlete’s direct beam at a draft event.

The new alternate jersey will make its in-game debut during Anaheim’s home opener on Sunday, October 15th against the Carolina Hurricanes at the Honda Center. The Ducks will use the 30th anniversary jersey for other theme nights and select games during the 2023-24 NHL season, with games to be announced at a later date.

Fans of the original Mighty Ducks logo will love the new jersey.

Anchored in plum and jade tones as an ode to the original 1993-94 road jersey, the Ducks’ original color scheme returns. At the heart of the jersey is a crest featuring the original round Mighty Ducks shoulder badge featuring the Wild Wing, an ode to the Mighty, outfitted for today and surrounded by the words Anaheim Ducks.

The new jersey features Anaheim’s original jersey number and lettering style, symbolizing the uniform look of the teams’ 1993-94 sweaters, while the inside collar spells out Mighty in the original wordmark font.

The sleeves of the sweaters feature gray bands with embossed text including Mighty Ducks of Anaheim Est. 1993″ on right hand and “Anaheim Ducks Est. 2006 on the left.
