Washington Spirit midfielder Bayley Feist was activated from the 45-day injured list

Feist returns to the active roster for the first time since early April

Washington, DC (2023-07-21) – Washington Spirit midfielder Bayley Feist has been activated from the 45-day injury (D45) list, the club announced today. Feist was injured in practice earlier this season and was tagged D45 twice, so he’s eligible to return this month. He will travel with the team to North Carolina this weekend.

Starting each of the Spirits’ first two games this season before his injury, Feist raised his career regular season totals to 1,848 minutes in 36 games (18 starts). Including all competitions, Feist has played 2,650 minutes, scored three goals and provided three assists in 49 games.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Feist was selected 17th overall by the Spirit in the 2019 NWSL College Draft. Prior to his professional career, Feist attended Wake Forest University where he played four seasons with the Demon Deacons. Earning third- and second-team All-ACC honors in 2017 and 2018, Feist scored 22 goals and added ten assists in 78 games played.
