Sheila Johnson and Giuseppe Turini won the Lapeer Rec Tennis League mixed doubles championship.
FLAT The Lapeer Rec League played its final league tennis matches on July 18 with Stephanie Lyons and Savannah Good in mixed doubles with Giuseppe Turin and Sheila Johnson. Turini and Johnson won the match 4-2 and 4-1. Third place went to Erin Sahr and Bob McRae and fourth place to Olivia Hensel and Sara Henry.
In the men’s league, Turini was crowned champion with Brian Hurst earning second prize. LP
