NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – North Platte Public Schools Tennis will host their first youth camp next week on the heels of a record-breaking active season. Second and eighth grade children are eligible for sessions from June 14th to June 16th. Clinics are divided into two groups, 2nd to 4th and 5th to 8th categories. The junior division plays from 11:00 to 12:00, and a youth racket is included in the registration fee. Older children play from 9:00 to 10:30 and receive a registered t-shirt. Later this month, a high school camp will be held at Cody Park. Hastings College will help run the two-day clinic, which runs June 28 and June 29. Freshmen and seniors can attend a camp that will be shared with the boys and girls session. The camp runs from 8 a.m. to noon, and classes are split every two hours. The registration fee is $ 45 and checks can be made to the NP Tennis Registration site. Payment must be made by June 14 and can be submitted to Coach Dale Hall or Coach Danielle Blake.
