San Diego Jr. Gulls releases new logos, announce Tryouts

San Diego Gulls, along with the San Diego Jr. Gulls and Jr. Gulls Girls hockey organizations, today announced the release of new youth club logos and trial information for the 2021-22 seasons.

The San Diego Jr. Gulls and Jr. Gulls Girls hockey organizations will present new logos and brands for the 2021-22 season. The logos highlight the collaboration between the American Hockey League (AHL) Club and the Jr. Gulls programs, with the seagulls ’primary brand being a unique distinction for each youth team.

“We’re excited to see this new look on the Jr. Gulls and Jr. Gulls Girls teams as they take on the ice next season,” said BEVERAGES Director Art Trottier. “These logos are a creative sequel to AHL’s San Diego Gulls brand, which will help continue the Irvine Ice Foundation’s efforts to grow hockey at all levels in Southern California while fostering a positive atmosphere for players to enjoy their youth hockey experience.”

The San Diego Jr. Gulls will hold its annual trials for a variety of age groups and skill levels on Friday, June 11 at BEVERAGES – Poway ICE and runs on Saturday, June 19th. More information and online registration can be found online at sandiegogulls.com/jrgulls.

Jr.Gulls programs are dedicated to player development at all skill levels and are based on outsiders BEVERAGES – Poway ICE, San Diego Gulls Official Training Institute. They have consisted of teams between the ages of 8 and 18 for over 50 years and are members of the Southern California Amateur Hockey Association (SCAHA), a competitive and evolving youth hockey governing body in Southern California and appointed by California. Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) as part of US Hockey. Jr. Gulls has developed players who have advanced to the National Hockey League, other unions, the NCAA, Junior A Tier 1 & 2, and the U.S. National Hockey Team Development Program.
