With the COVID-19 pandemic, the Guyana Table Tennis Federation (GTTA) action plan came to a standstill in terms of competition activities, and the federation continues to make leaps to spread the sport.
The last school to benefit from the initiative was West Demerara High School.
Students at the department had a moderation of CSEC’s physical education for table tennis, led by coaches Linden Johnson, Shavin Greene and Mr. Muniram, along with Ulric Charles, regional sports manager.
A total of 30 students benefited from this session, GTTA said.
This is one of the results of GTTA’s strategic partnership with the Guyanese Ministry of Education and the Government of the People’s Republic of China through the Chinese Embassy in Guyana, GTTA said.
