The Notre Dame Fighting Irish event list is full of players, and we want to talk about them all. The One Foot Downs player profile series will once again look at each of them, and hopefully we’ll all learn a little more about these guys, and Notre Dames ’chances for the upcoming season 2021.

# 73 Andrew Kristofic, offensive line

Andrew Kristofic committed to the Irish on 23 April 2018 as a member of the 2018 recruitment class. He selected the Irish over bids from Clemson in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, State of Ohioand Wisconsin, among others. He had a 4-star rating per 247Sports Composite Rankings. Kristofic was ranked among the best players in the state of Pennsylvania, 17th^th best offensive combat and 183^rd the best full-size player in the country in the 2019 class. He is currently 65 and weighs 292 pounds.

During both the 2019 and 2020 seasons, Kristofic saw a mop-up task in 4 matches. Due to the preservation of its red shirt and COVID season, Kristofic may technically have 4 years left.

Popeyes is one of the fastest growing chains in America. Although the restaurant has been around for years, the restaurant has gained considerable popularity of late. In the same way Andrew Kristofic could set a meteoric rise in the Irish program. Once Kristofic has set his time over the last two seasons, he has the opportunity to take the lead on the offensive line for the 2021 season.

Outlook for 2021

The role of Kristofics is difficult to attach to the coming season. He performed well enough during the spring to rise as a presumed front runner to the starting position of the right guard. However, increasing the number of completed transfers to Cain Madden complicates matters. Madden takes the form of an opening along the interior. Jarrett Patterson is expected to be ready by early fall, but no one is entirely sure where he will actually play. Rocco Spindler made a phenomenal first impression on the staff and ran with the first team attack most of the time on the left guard. In rigging positions, Josh Lugg and Tosh Baker both seem to have fascinating options. What does all this mean for Kristofic? Your guess is as good as mine. The only sure bet seems to be that he will be trusted with big clicks as a starter or top reserve on some line of attack.
