Georgia security Quavian Carter commits

Mel Tucker continues to dig his Georgian recruiting lines to build Michigan state football teams.

The Spartans undertook on Saturday evenings to commit to 2022 Quavian Carter, their third peach state among the six promises so far. Tucker served as defense coordinator and defensive defender coach for the Georgian Bulldogs in 2016-18.

With 6-foot and 200-pound safety from Lee County High in Leesburg, Georgia, Carter is rated a three-star potential and No. 644 overall player in 2022 according to the 247Sports.coms combination rating. He is the 39th best security in his class. He was significantly interested in Florida State, Michigan, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Mississippi, Vanderbilt and others.
