Ping Pong Fury Recension – Gamereactor

I love ping pong. lskar-lskar-lskar. This despite the fact that I’ve always been pretty lousy. During my high school years, I played ping pong for at least an hour a day. I had two of my own rackets with Mikael Appelgren’s very nice signature frame, expensive twin rubbers, Stiga’s most luxurious case and a lot of balls I bought while working as a stick boy in the summer at Lantmteriet like dre for ten weeks, straight. I played, I played and I played, but I never got particularly good. I think I think in retrospect that it was a bit of a hysterical fast pace that ultimately prevented me from really cutting my skills in this sport, but love was always there and will last forever.

Ping-pong is a greatly underrepresented form of the game, which I think is a shame, but I think it’s also about the tempo being so high if you’re going to simulate real pin-pong that you as a player barely have time to see the ball. The GTA people at Rockstar’s home read this wildly on the currently 15-year-old Xbox 360 project Rockstar Games Table Tennis, but since then, hardly any ping pong games have been released. That’s why I’m really shocked to see last week that Ping Pong Fury was released for the iPhone / Ipad. Now I’ve been playing it for several days and I really can’t believe that my ping pong cravings are fulfilled or that I’m going to continue.

The rage of Ping Pong
It’s nice, charges quickly, and has a nice sound, but the touch control feels weird, at its best, and my thumb covers 31% of the screen surface and thus the entire club.

The problem is to start with the pace. Ping Pong Fury is too slow, and I clearly understand the problem. If it went twice as fast, no one would have time to hit a small chalk-white ball. No. For me, though, it falls here. Ping pong should be fast. Snrtigt. Fast. and it’s never Ping Pong Fury, unfortunately. Another complaint I have here is that the touch control method supports the game more than it helps, and I’ve had real trouble seeing what I do when my thumb covers 31% of the screen area of the Iphone 12 Pro. Therefore, it works better on the Ipad, but even here it becomes a problem when the thumb covers the ping pong racket and makes it impossible to see how well you hit the ball.

However, the developers of Yakuto have been successful with the graphics, atmosphere and sound world. Ping Pong Fury looks very much like Rockstar’s old ping pong title and remake, just like the camera view and menus look good, nicely done. Like I said, I also like the sound with the right sound effects, although I miss the big, spacious acoustics of the Olympics when Waldner beat the Chinese on the assembly line. After all, this is certainly not a bad thing, but neither is an unwanted ping pong table.
