FREDONIA – Fredonia finished the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association tennis season elegantly on Tuesday, lowering the Cassadaga Valley 5-0.

The Hillbillies (10-1, 8-1) challenged everyone except three games in singles, which were won by Neil Coscio, Trevor Napoli and Mike Berg.

Tim Davis and Ethan Klemann as well as Max Corsi and Oliver McAfee won the Fredonia doubles.

RED DRAGONES TOP DUNKIRK

BEMUS POINT – Fletcher DeMink and Brendan Weatherup won their doubles trip to lead Maple Grove past Dunkirk in a 4-1 Western Division game.

Marshall Cresanti and Zechariah won the first pair, while Ben Finson and Parker Weston defeated the Red Dragons second pair (10-2, 7-1).

Ryan Wills won the Marauders in the first singles (9-5, 7-4).

Curtis Hannon won the first singles, while Greg Holmberg and Jacob Thierfeldt won the first pair for the Golden Falcons (2-9).

Micah Heim and Collin Hoffman won the second pair of devils (5-4).

OLEAN EDGES TROJANS

OLEAN – Olean held southwest on Monday, 3-2, to stay unbeaten on the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association tennis court.

The Huskies (10-0, 8-0) recorded wins from Mark Brown in the first singles, Alex Blehar in the second singles and Cavan Boutillette and Lex Linderman in the first twins.

The Trojans (6-3, 5-2) posted Dilla Hatch’s wins for the third single (7-6 (7-2), 7-5); and the second pair team of Liam Clement and Jacob Lawton.
