Advantage Kids offers free summer tennis lessons for Valley Children Sports

Advantage Kids, New Hampshire’s leading youth tennis court and education development program, is offering a free Tennis Plus! -A program open to children aged 7-14 in various valleys. The six-week programs begin June 28 in Conway, Jackson, Tamworth, Freedom and Fryeburg, Maine. Online registration is now open on the website advantagekids.net.

All sessions focus on developing fitness, tennis skills, flexibility, awareness and collaboration. Advantage Kids staff have extensive local experience in coaching children. Chris Chaffee, a USTA tennis professional, and Christie Ann Rochette, a Child Yoga certification, are assisted by local trainers and volunteers, all of whom are accredited by the U.S. Tennis Association as Safe Play.

The new offer, Match Play, includes players 12-17 in the USTA Junior Team Tennis event with two-person teams competing in the local league. The top two in July will place in the first Advantage Kids State Championship in August.

Advantage Kids is about to begin its third year of free programming, thanks to grants from the USTA Foundation and local donors.
