Hard to block memories of damage in Germany MotoGP winner

Marquez severely broke his right upper arm during falls in recent years at the Spanish GP, requiring three surgeries and removing him from the entire 2020 season.

He has struggled on his right shoulder since his return to Portugal in April, but felt the Sachsenring, where he has been unbeaten since 2010, offers a strong opportunity for the podium thanks to his counterclockwise placement.

Marquez took the lead in the second round on Sundays with a 30-round German GP and resisted pressure from Miguel Oliveira, M.Sc. sealed his first win in 581 days.

Even though it started another drop, I pushed even more and then I said ok, it’s time to take a risk.

I take the risk in those laps and when I passed that moment, another race started with Miguel.

He pushed a lot, but then it was really hard to stay focused because of all the memories, all the situations over the last year were there.

But we did it, we do it again. We are in a difficult situation, but we are trying to stay on the same level.

Marquez admitted on Saturday that he couldn’t think of winning, but has now won the last 11 races he has competed in the 125cc, Moto2 and MotoGP classes at the Sachsenring.
