Maxime Groysman inks UTSA men’s tennis

SAN ANTONIO, SAINT ANTONIO UTSA men’s tennis has added Maxime Groysman, who has been recruited for five stars for the 2021-22 season, head coach announced Sergei Avdeyev on Monday afternoon.

“Max has produced good results and is evolving very fast,” Avdeyev said. “I’ve been following Max for the past year and he’s consistently producing impressive results. He played a lot of matches during COVID-19. He just won a big UTR tournament where he won three active college players and has won a line-up. Players from Dartmouth, Minnesota and From Wisconsin.I’m very excited to see his improvement.He has proven he can win at any level.His best win came where he won the number one younger player in the US with a higher UTR rating then any player in our conference.It shows that Maxilla has the ability to play in any of our lineups. We really expect Max to be on campus in the fall. “

The five-star recruited Bellevue, Wash., Groysman is ranked No. 30 in the United States by Tennis Recruiting and the fourth best player in the Northwest. Born in Moscow, Russia, he won a couple of UTR Open tournaments in Newport Beach, California, and has one ITA tournament championship in Rancho Santa Fe.
