Fleury, 36, finished third in the NHL with 26 wins, 1.98 goals, a 0.928 savings percentage and six closures in 36 matches. He also ended the season with nine games on the winning streak and moved up to third on the NHL career list with 492 wins.

New York Rangers Adam Fox won the Jack Norris Award as an NHL defender. He defeated Victor Hedman of Tampa Bays and Cale Makari of Colorado.

23-year-old Fox led the NHL defenders with 42 assists and a second with 47 points. He also finished seventh among skaters during the ice. Fox became the second player to beat Norris in the second season, joining Bobby Orr as the winner in 1968.

Minnesotas Kirill Kaprizov won the Calder Memorial Trophy Award as rookie of the year when he became only the fourth rookie from 1993-94 to lead his team in scoring. The 24-year-old Russian led NHL entrants with 27 goals and 51 points, becoming the first wild player to beat Calder.

Carolina goalkeeper Alex Nedeljkovic and Dallas striker Jason Robertson were the other two Calder finalists.

Oilers players have now beat Hart in the last three of the last five years, with Draisaitl winning it last year.

Draisailt informed McDavid of winning both awards.

Having your friends recognize you means a lot. It just feels humble and grateful that you’ve won this award a few times, McDavid said he won the honor of Ted Lindsay before personally thanking Draisaitl for his personal contribution to his point production.

Kaprizov, Nedeljkovic and Robertson were joined by NHL All-Rookie team Ottawa Senators striker Josh Norris, Rangers defender KAndre Miller and New Jersey defender Ty Smith.

The first All-Star team has McDavid in the middle, Marchand on the left and Toronto Mitchell Marner on the right, Fox and Makar on defense with Vasilevskiy at the finish.

In the middle of the second All-Star team was Matthews, on the left Florida Jonathan Huberdeau and on the right Colorado Mikko Rantanen, in defense Hedman and Carolinas Dougie Hamilton and Fleury online.

The NHL previously announced other winners: Carolinas Rod BrindAmour won the Jack Adams Award for Coach of the Year and New York Islanders Lou Lamoriello won the Jim Gregory Award of the Year.

Florida’s Aleksander Barkov won the Frank J Selke Award for the NHL’s top defensive striker, and Carolina defender Jaccob Slavin won the Lady Byng Memorial for Athleticism and Gentlemanful Behavior.

Cancer survivor Philadelphias Oskar Lindblom received the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy this year, which was presented to a player who is an example of perseverance and dedication to hockey.

The Mark Messier NHL Leadership Award was presented to Boston’s Patrice Bergeron. Matthews defeated Maurice Rocket to lead the Richard Trophy NHL by 41 goals.
