NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. Fletcher senior football coach Robert Bobby Raulerson was arrested Thursday morning and charged with one domestic battery, prison records show.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office, Raulerson was admitted to Duval County Jail on Thursday morning for abuse. Prison records show he is still in jail on Friday afternoon and is not entitled to bonds.
The school district said Raulerson has been separated from all positions in the student community but is still employed.
JSO’s arrest report has been heavily modified, but it shows the victim told investigators that he and Raulerson had been arguing for hours, and as the allegation progressed, he became angry with him. He eventually called the police to leave the house.
After the interview, both people involved JSO reported arresting Raulerson’s victim based on visible injuries.
Raulersons’ statement to police has been corrected and his relationship with the victim was not immediately clear.

Because Raulerson has been accused of abuse, it shows he is the first offense. If found guilty, he can spend up to a year in prison.
We are monitoring this situation in terms of human resources, a representative of Duval County Public Schools told News4Jax in a statement. The employee has been removed from positions in the student community until the matter is completed.
Raulerson, 53, was promoted to Fletcher football team leadership in January 2020.
Raulerson was an assistant senator for the 2019 season and replaced Kevin Brown, who retired at Fletcher after several decades of a multi-sport coaching career.
Raulerson had been head coach three seasons a year for both Providence (2011-13) and Bishop Kenny (2016-18). He has been reunited between the ages of 35 and 28 in those schools, and there are three seasons of the playoffs.
