One of the additions under the radar that the Class 2022 needs is a propeller. With all Americans at Cade York starting their junior season and claiming to be one of the country’s leading propellers, staying ahead of the game is important to the Tigers.
Tigers added a 12th member to the recruiting class on Friday when kicker Nathan Dibert, who is a class 20 kicking class in 2022, announced his commitment to purple and gold.
Leaving Hartland, Michigan, the left-footed kicker is the country’s number one player valued by Kohls Kicking Camp.
Under LSU team coordinator Greg McMahon, he has done a great job recruiting kickers and players. Tigers led by McMahon have signed Cole Tracy, York and five-star punter Peyton Todd from West Monroe.
Special teams were once an inconsistent part of the Tigers game, but they have proven to be the most consistent over the past three years under McMahon. LSU arrives this offseason with York firmly in place as a kicker, but Todd and Avery Atkins are a bit in a fight for the redness starting position.
By adding another five-star propeller to Kohls’s list as Dibert joins the program, the future of consistent special teams seems to be tact. Tiger now has 12 commitments in class 2022 with the addition of Dibert and possibly more along the way.
Kelvin Banks must announce his commitment to the highly regarded offensive fight on 4 July. LSU is exactly a mix with Texas A&M, Texas and Oregon.
