Singapore: A Singapore table tennis player and team leader participated in a pre-Olympic interview with a Japanese operator who was later positive about COVID-19.

The national team left for Japan on June 27 and has been operating in Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture, in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics.

An interview with a Japanese cameraman took place on June 29th.

According to Asahi Shimbun, the Singapore table tennis team has asked not to accept interviews following the COVID-19 case.
