The Spartans will get a few new coaches next year.
Michael Randall will take over as head coach at Stanwood High. Randall, a high school science teacher, was an assistant coach. Randall replaces Jordan Snevan, who left Mount Vernon High as sports director.
Ryan Ingram will become the new head tennis coach when Sean Cunningham resigns. Cunningham will continue as the girls ’tennis coach.
Ingram, who was recently hired as a science teacher at Stanwood High, previously coached boys in tennis on Lake Stevens.
The Spartans recently hired Jeff Scott as the new head football coach to replace Eric Keizer. Stanwood is also looking for a cross-country coach, who was also led by Sneva, and to replace boys basketball coach Zach Ward, who resigned last month.
