The Williston State Hockey team added two people to its list this fall, one new member and one returning member.
Isaac Ellingson committed to play as a new member of the Tetons, and his commitment was announced on July 2nd.
Ellingson is from Crosby, North Dakota, and he is a team striker.
However, just before Ellingson’s commitment, the Tetons announced that Carson Arndt will play for the third year in Williston State.
Arndt will join Campbell Jackson as returning members for the third year.
To provide some sort of context, the National Collegiate Athletic Association offered eligibility criteria to all college athletes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This means that college athletes like Arndt and Jackson were able to extend their right to play at the university for another year (or in this case, play at a third-year two-year university).
Arndt returns as a striker, and after playing 63 games and scoring 22 points in his Teton career, he offers extensive experience to help Tetons in the coming season.
