The defeated Indian cricket waste was shocked by the sounds of a fierce “war cry” after the World Cup in Southampton.

India’s versatile Ravi Ashwin has described how the heartache of losing the opening decision worsened as both teams were parked in isolation in the same hotel lined with Ageas Oval.

India, above Kane Williamson’s victorious Black Caps, left licking wounds to the sounds of the Kiwi team’s party, Ashwin revealed on YouTube.

Covid’s sports lock rules meant there was nothing to hide for the Virat Kohl star team.

“After the match, New Zealand tends to party with a trophy and a few drinks in the locker room,” said Ashwin, who was reportedly “confused” about the loss of the eight-color shock.

“It was hard to see it. I think it’s the flip side when the room is above ground.

“They celebrated until 12. They even arrived on the field, and it sounded like a shout of war to express their happiness.

“It was pretty shocking to see because we couldn’t do it.”

Ashwin said Indian players are currently enjoying life outside the bubble and a three-week break before they start a series of five tests against England, which will start the next test race.

“It’s been pretty hard to be in the bubble for a year and a half,” he said.

“We can get some fresh air and step out.”
