Nick Kyrgios’ Olympic hopes get a massive blow after tennis star gives an update on injuries

Nick Kyrgios has appeared to confirm that he will not appear at the Tokyo Olympics after submitting an injury update to his Instagram story.

Kyrgios was forced to withdraw from his third-round meeting at Wimbledon against Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada.

After the match, he said he had injured his stomach, and if he had continued, he would have done serious damage.

It was a very successful week for Kyrgios, who returned to an international tennis round after playing at the Australian Open earlier this year.

A lot of talk during Kyrgios ’week at SW19 is surrounded by his upcoming performance at the Tokyo Olympics.

Kyrgios was one of 11 named to the Australian record tennis team for the Olympics in Japan.

Shortly after the team was announced, the Atlanta Open announced that Nick would also compete in their tournament.

The only problem was that the Tokyo Olympics and the Atlanta Open will be run simultaneously, in the last week of July.

At first, Kyrgios was convinced he hadn’t decided which tournament he was going to play in.

However, when he left Wimbledon, he hinted that he was leaning towards Atlanta, and suggested that he would not want to play in the Olympics if there were no crowds.

I want to do it full of crowds while my guests are there. I want to do it when I can watch other athletes do things. It’s the Olympics for me.

“The Olympics, its course, are not the Olympics.

The Australian Olympic Committee confirmed that Kyrgios was present until he told them otherwise and supported his decision on anything.

As for Nick Kyrgios, we would still like to see Nick in these games, ”said Australian Olympic team chef Ian Chesterman.

“He knows he’s welcome to these games, and I still think it would be a fantastic result for tennis and our team if he were there.

“I understand and respect his decision no matter what he goes through. The games are different, people have to be able to believe that they can perform in these different circumstances.

“Nick makes his own decision, and we respect it.”

But now it looks like Nick has certainly wondered that the return from injury is happening in Atlanta.

By broadcasting his Instagram story from home in Nassau in the Bahamas, Kyrgios gave his 1.7 million followers a glimpse of his training program.

The image he submitted shows at the top of the page that his next tournament is Atlanta 250.

If Kyrgios, the world’s number 60, doesn’t play in the Olympics, he will have to wait another three years for his debut at the event.

The 26-year-old has spoken passionately about his love for team events and how playing in front of a crowd encourages him to do better.

He will be 29 when Paris 2024 revolves around him, but no doubt Kyrgios is already watching this event on behalf of his debut Olympics and to represent the country.
