Xavier Supports the “summer’s most important” player

As the visiting season continued last month around the university football recruitment landscape, many fans forgot about the ongoing summer training sessions for the Texas football program. Just a few weeks before the fall camp begins in Forty Acres, Texas, and new head coach Steve Sarkisian are full of summer rehearsals.

This is the last phase of the offseason on Longhorns ’current list before the playoffs begin. And it’s worth paying attention to which Longhorns players stand out from the summer climate and get their feet up in the fall.

One of the hottest players in the middle of summer training this offseason is the former Michigan Wolverines ’four-star wide reception commitment and Central East High School product Worth Xavier. Texas managed to reverse the commitment and sign Worth after the spring camp ended.

Texas experienced some revenue in the host crowd this offseason, allowing future freshman Worthy a clearer path forward immediately. Xavier Worthy is making a real impression on Texas football this summer

The good news is that Worthy has been successful for Longhorns in every way since he arrived on campus during this offseason. According to a report by Horns247 On July 9 (paid content), Worthy may be the “most impressive” Longhorns player separately through summer air conditioners and late 7-7 against practice.

Worthy arrived forty acres before the start of the summer practice, but he missed spring ball because he was still committed to Michigan at the time.

This is a great sign to Sark and second-year host coach Andre Coleman that the real freshman Worthy has come into the spotlight this offseason. And Top247 places him as the nation’s 99th high school reader, No. 13 broad recipient, and No. 8 outside of California.

Texas placed a record 7-3 (5-3 Big 12) last season under former head coach Tom Herman. New head coach Sark and Longhorns will open the regular season on September 4, 2021 at home against Louisiana.
