One hundred, Caribbean Premier League, more than 200 new players coming to cricket 19

Cricket 19 developer Big Ant has announced a new DLC package for Cricket 19 that includes The Hundred and the Caribbean Premier League. The pack adds over 200 licensed players to the Cricket 19s list.

The DLC costs $ 14.95 AUD / 9.99 and will be available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC on July 16, 2021.

The Hundred in Cricket 19 features both men’s and women’s competitions, and players can create a fantasy The Hundred team. Three new stadiums have also been added, so all eight The Hundred teams are based.

This is the perfect The Hundred experience, said Big Ant CEO Ross Symons in a statement. Weve went out and created three new stadiums in the UK, so fans can play along with the whole competition while they test their own leadership and playing skills in building the perfect team.

Our goal has always been to give cricket fans a full experience, and The Hundred represents an exciting new game format that we have been waiting for for a long time. It’s also the first time it brought DLC to a cricket game. We have fans who have been playing Cricket for 19 thousand hours and they have asked us for ways to deepen their experience even further. We can’t expect them to experience the excitement this DLC brings to the game.

The DLC’s Caribbean Premier League component features seven brand new stadiums.

The free new patch that comes alongside the DLC also adds a weekly skill challenge mode called Test the Best, as well as a new emotes system that allows players to send each other reactions during the online game.

A review of IGNs released in May 2019 found that cricket 19 is essentially the real thing the game of cricket has ever been.
