Huether, Novak will be inducted into the SD Tennis Hall of Fame

SIOUX FALLS Cindy Huether from Sioux Falls and Scott Novak from Brandon will be inducted into the South Dakota Tennis Hall on Sunday.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the McKennan Park tennis complex during the South Dakota Adult Open.

McKennan Park has been hosting induction ceremonies since 1991, early in the halls. There is a sign near the tennis courts that identifies everyone induced.

Huether has worn many hats associated with tennis and has served for many years as CEO of the Sioux Falls Tennis Association.

Novak has coached alma mater at Northern State University in Aberdeen and Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter, Minn. He and his wife Lorraine consider one of the largest public tennis centers in the country, located in Mobile, Lower.

Sioux Falls Dr. Mike and Judy Rost and their families receive the SD Tennis Achievement Award.

The ceremony is open to the public, and the adult open championships will follow.
