Central is mentioned in the men’s tennis research list

For the fifth year in a row, the Central College men’s tennis team received the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award.

Six Central players were also named to the ITA Scholar-Athlete contestants.

The Dutch got an average of 3.35 team points. To qualify for the ITA distinction, teams must have a combined GPA of at least 3.20. The Dutch have received the award for the ninth time since 2005.

Graduated parent William Isiminger (Northern Aurora, Ill., Western Aurora HS) was honored for the fourth time. Tanner Finken (junior, Carroll,) and Joe Roberts (senior, Lake-in-the-Hills, Ill., Huntley HS) was respected for the third time. Sophomores Nash Christian (Whitewater, Wis, Fort Atkinson HS) and Michael Turnley (Manhattan, Canada) earned the honor of the second time and freshman Lucas Vroom (Altoona, Southeast Polk HS) was awarded for the first time.

ITA research athletes must publish a minimum GPA of 3.50 per year and enter it on the Institutional Eligibility Form. In the kingdom, 772 men of 111 Division III men’s teams were honored.
