NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks, a former NFL player and player scout, recently named the corner pieces of his top five locks and the former LSU football star made the list.
Brooks has Los Angeles Rams corner player Jalen Ramsey, a former Florida state referee, as the number one locking man, followed by Marlon Humphrey (Baltimore Ravens), Xavien Howard (Miami Dolphins) and Jaire Alexander (Green Bay Packers).
Among Brooks ’top five is Buffalo Bills corner player Tre’Davious White.
White played at LSU in 2013-2016. He was a member of the All-SEC’s first team in 2016.
Shreveport, a LA native, was selected with Bills No. 27 overall in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
What Bucky Brooks loves about former LSU football club Tre’Davious White
It’s no surprise that Brooks is a big White fan who had started at LSU four years ago.
The former tiger has been selected for two Pro-Bowls and was the leader of the NFL abductions in 2019 with six. White already has 15 career listings during his first four years in the league.
Brooks went into a bit of detail about what he likes about White, revealing the corner kicks of his top five locks.
“Bills’ CB1 is a blue-collar man on the island with instincts, awareness and foresight to shine in the zone-heavy system used by head coach Sean McDermott, ”Brooks wrote.
“In 2017, 17.1 percent of the items thrown into its coverage resulted in either a feed gap or an abduction, placing it in the top five in the CB qualifiers per PFF,” Brooks added.
“Make no mistake, White is a top-notch player who produces consistent results.”
This is not news for LSU fans who watched White turn in stunning performances for four years at Baton Rouge.
By the way, White signed a four-year extension for Bills worth $ 70 million before the start of the 2020 season.
