Just ask about the Park area tennis courts Business

What’s in stock for Champaigns Lindsay tennis courts?

A change of half a million dollars starting Monday.

We took all the nets down and part of the fence down to mill all eight tennis courts, Champaign Park District CEO Joe DeLuce said. Well remove half a layer of asphalt, re-asphalt it, and then add a new paint coating to it once the asphalt has compacted.

The entire construction and painting process should take about a month and a half, DeLuce said.

As part of the district’s capital projects, the effort will cost about $ 550,000. Asphalting should take 20-25 years, DeLuce said.

When completed, the tennis courts will be the same as other regulatory areas in the city: a classic combination of blue and green.

Centennial and Central High Schools both play on Lindsay’s tennis courts.

The park area is also planning to renovate Spalding Park’s courts, which will also serve locals prepared for tennis.

We have a lot of tennis players in the community. Once both of these are done, we will have good tennis courts for local players and high schools, DeLuce said.
