Everton expresses interest in Villarreal winger Chukwueze

Everton has expressed interest in Villarreal’s SamuelChukwueze as the search for a new pier continues.

The 22-year-old made 40 appearances last season, made four and assisted eight when his team won the European League.

He is also Nigeria’s international 18 cap, so he brings a nice amount of experience to Goodison Park despite his young age.

Chukwueze was injured due to Villarreal’s Europa win over Manchester United, but appeared on both legs against Arsenal in the semi-finals and picked up a groin injury from the second leg.
