Richarlison is set to represent Brazil at the Tokyo Olympics. Their first match is against Germany on Thursday, July 22nd. The final of the tournament will be held on Saturday, August 7th.

I was in contact with him, he had the Olympics in his head, we had to figure out his situation and he’s fine, Benitez said.

He’s happy because he can go there and know he has to give us something back because we supported him.

That [not being involved at start of season] may be something we can’t consider great at the beginning, but it’s a huge increase for us over the rest of the season as he tries to deliver.
