Field Hockey will release the 2021 fall schedule

Friars will host Bryant (Aug. 27) and Boston University (Aug. 29) on the opening weekend. The team arrives to play the game of Maine on September 4, followed by a neutral game in Orono, Maine against Harvard 5. September.

Providence returns home to Lennon Family Field to host back-to-back conference games against New Hampshire (September 10) and LIU (September 12) before opening the BIG EAST conference season at Provan Grounds against Villanova (September 17). ).

After the Friars match at Villanova, they stay on the road to face non-conference opponent Monmouth (September 19).

Providence welcomes Georgetown to its BIG EAST home car on Sept. 24, followed by a couple of road games in UMass (Sept. 26) and Connecticut (Oct. 1).

Friars will enjoy four consecutive home games starting at VCU on October 3rd. Major Eastern opponents Temple and Old Dominion will come to Friartown for league events on October 8th and October 15th. Home accommodation ends with an inter-city match against Brown 17. October.

Providence closes the regular season schedule with a negotiation contest in Liberty (Oct. 22) and a couple of home contests against BIG EAST enemy Quinnipiac (Oct. 29) and inter-conference enemy Dartmouth (Oct. 31).
