PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Lilly Bobrowski, Senior, Traverse City St.Francis

Bobrowski helped lead the Gladiators to second place in the state by ranking 4th in Division 4 of Division 1. His 26-5 record included two losses to the undefeated state champion and three losses to opponents from much larger schools. The regional and conference champion returned from a torn ACL that took its second-year season to earn Glads ’No. 1 best-ever team and is heading to Ave Maria to play tennis at the university.

Jillian Sodini, Senior, TC St.Francis

Part of the older trio, which led St.Francis and won the D4 title on single # 3, went unbeaten with a 31-0 record, winning the Lake Michigan conference title and the D4 regional crown.

Alexi Lewis, Senior, TC St.Francis

The state champion in Division 4 in the second duel was rounded up by a three-headed monster with Glad in a duel. Lewis had a perfect 31-0 record on his way to the conference, regional and state championships and plans to play tennis at Hope College next season.

Mary Chittle, yes, TC St.Francis

The youngest duel of the loaded TCSF team was not lazy. Chittle went to his name with 18-3 conference and regional names. Reached the state semifinals in the 4th single.

Chelsea Shampoo, Senior, Petoskey

Shampine returns to the dream team with an 18-6 record on the 2nd place single. Four of Shampines ’six losses came to Division 1 opponents and he won the D2 regional crown as well as the BNC title.

Macy Brown, Senior, Cadillac

Brown won the D3 zone on the 2nd single, the only Viking to win an individual crown. He went 14-3 with two losses to Shampine throughout the season.

Ivy Walker, Senior, TC Central

Walker won the Big North conference in the first singles of the crown and went 18-9. Won one match in the state final and helped TCC return to tie TC West from the team’s BNC title in the final match.

The junior pairings in No. 3 doubles reached the state semi-finals before bowing to the D4 tournament. Went 23-5 as a team and won the regional and Lake Michigan conference championships.

Welch had a star score of 24-6 on the No. 2 BNC Champion Trojan Flight # 2 and the pair won 18 matches together. They won one match in the D1 state finals and the conference title No. 2 pairs.

Maria Linck, Senior / Carly Galsterer, So., TC Central

Played in one of 24 matches where the pair went 19-6 in the top four and won two matches for TCC in the states. Won the crown of the Great Northern Conference and helped lead the Trojans back to tie the Titans team for the title.

Cerny and Johnson combined to a 20-5 record, while Cerny went 22-6 overall in doubles year No. 3. The Titans fell short of the qualifying states team, but the senior tandem won the Big North Conference crown No. 3 doubles.

Alexa Wonacott, Senior / Hailey Siles, Senior, TC West

The number 1 double-duo went in season 21-9 and demanded a BNC title on their flight.

Wonacott and Siles fell in the regional title match and went undefeated in the conference doubles.

COACH OF THE YEAR Lisa Seymour, TC West

Seymour led the Titans to their first Big North Conference crown since 2003 and second in school history, tying with TC Central in the BNC Championships.

TC West went undefeated in the BNC doubles and finished fourth in the regional schools with an all-time high of 14.

He had an overall record of 13-1-3 in the third season as head coach and led the Titans to three tournament wins.
