Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will receive its next DLC in the next five months

We already knew more content was coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and now Ubisoft has confirmed when we can expect it. The next round of major content will arrive in the next five months. This comes after the dataminers have begun to mine information about a new expansion, reportedly called Dawn of Ragnarok.

“We plan to deliver great new content for the second year of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” Ubisoft explains in its latest financial report, “particularly in the second half of the current fiscal year.” That fiscal year ends on March 31, 2022, which gives us a fairly specific window in which the new DLC could be launched.

Ubisoft has already confirmed that more expansions would arrive in the second year after the launch of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and we received a short teaser on what to expect from Ubisoft Forward in June. The image of a rune-decorated portal pouring lava into a wooded valley has been our only official piece of information so far.

But in early October, dataminer j0nathan reported (via Eurogamer) that the name of the new expansion would be Dawn of Ragnarok and that it would be set in Svartalfheim, the home of the dwarves. Apparently, the fiery inhabitants of Muspelheim will invade the realm of the dwarves.
