Google One VPN: is it reliable? Everything you need to know about Google’s new product

Google One has a new VPN feature that would bring users a “virtual private network” and aims to be part of its subscription service for several countries in its next versions. Google One’s VPN is now available in 10 different countries and is still expanding, but the real question for now is “Is this a reliable service?”

Google One is known for its Internet company’s all-in-one service, something that brings many products into one price billed monthly by the service provider. It includes a lot of things, but its most recent version is with the VPN service, something that is not yet in full release explosion and will be coming to different regions or countries soon.

A VPN is known as the legitimate way to mask your internet activity and web source, and it would be like browsing anonymously. The feature masks your ISP or Internet Service Provider, along with other sensitive information such as your name, contact details, source of Internet usage, and more. It works like the “Incognito” feature, which hides a person’s browsing activity.

The only difference is that incognito browsing does not hide a person’s cookies or other information from the site’s trackers.

What is that?

Google One’s VPN already works like any other VPN in the service, but has fewer advanced service features available. Google One VPN is an add-on to plans that have used Google’s 2TB and higher service with regards to its cloud storage known as Google Drive.

The internet giant promises that Google One’s VPN can help protect against hackers and online monitoring, something a legitimate VPN service is trying to promote and focus on.

It is reliable?

Previously, ISPs could sell their own data they stole, and this was not a breach of security or privacy per se. This is what VPNs are trying to avoid and promise to protect once it is running on their computer and already being used by a person who wants internet security.

Google One VPN is a service that comes with its own subscription features, something that promises to offer protection to a user every time they surf the internet.

Google said it will not collect or track data when its VPN is used, and that speaks volumes for a company that has had a lot of controversy in the past regarding data collection and advertising services. Google One claims that its VPN is fast and reliable, to be used for a person’s different needs and requirements.

Google’s service is fairly new and has few reviews on its reliability for users to protect them from damage or breach.
