Months later, we finally have pretty concrete details on when that Naruto content might arrive. According to a tweet from famous Fortnite leaker HYPEX on November 10, “Fortnite x Naruto will be added on November 16 along with a creative hub of Hidden Leaf Village. The cosmetics and hub are expected to be released that day at 9:00 am Eastern. So. To recap, Naruto content is expected to arrive on Fortnite on November 16 at 9:00 am Eastern.

Most of this information comes courtesy of a flurry of content extracted from the data uncovered alongside Fortnite’s 6.30pm update released on October 26. In that patch, HYPEX found the stats of the upcoming explosive Kunai Mythic and deduced that HeadbandK, Naruto’s alleged codename, is slated to be a boss on the map fighting with the Kunai. The leaker also notes that a HeadbandS variant also exists, postulating that Naruto characters Kakashi and Sasuke could somehow be part of the celebration.

Among those claims, the source suggested, “Epic is currently looking to get Naruto for the Season 8 Battle Pass.” While that precise scenario didn’t actually materialize, Epic Games CEO Donald Mustard mentioned the franchise in a conversation with Fortnite content creator Candywing. While Candywing deduced that this meant Naruto would be in the Season 8 Battle Pass, Mustard later clarified, saying the hypothesis was a “misunderstanding”. Since Naruto took so long to debut, we can now see where Mustard probably came from.

What is the price of the Fortnite Naruto skin?

While nothing has been explicitly said about an Item Shop premium price for Naruto’s crossover skins, HYPEX recently told its followers to “prepare their wallets” for upcoming releases.

Our best guess is that characters like Kakashi and Sasuke could easily be sold as individual skins or as part of a package with all the cosmetics for both characters.
