Innovative scale-ups and B2B / B2B2C service providers were asked to apply for awards, focusing on virtual fashion and augmented customer experience.
The winner of the Virtual Fashion category was announced as OppenFuture Technologies, a China-based 3D and Augmented Reality (AR) technology company that provides 3D interactions and AR testing capabilities for e-commerce. The nominees for the category were explored on virtual solutions in the areas of 3D fashion design, virtual apparel, fashion NFTs, avatars, the fashion metaverse and games. Among the finalists for the award were the likes of Dutch company The Fabricant, a digital fashion house and the metaverse social platform, Anam XR.
US firm Obsess won the Augmented Customer Experience category, for its ability to enable international luxury brands to offer interactive and creative digital shopping experiences, using virtual reality (VR) technology for stores and showrooms. Category selections have been directed towards the tech fields surrounding virtual testing and stores, customer journey virtualization, ecommerce enhancements, phygital stores, and more. UK-based virtual shopping platform, Klarna, and SmartPixels, a 3D viewing platform, were among the finalists.
100 nominees from across Europe, Asia and North America were presented to the jury, which was made up of Bally’s top management and representatives from the competition’s partners, including Accenture, Microsoft and USB. The finalists presented on a decisive day at the Bally headquarters in Switzerland.
