Collins Announces Soccer Staff Changes – Football – Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

THE APARTMENTS – Georgia Tech football manager Geoff Collins announced on Sunday that the contracts of three assistant coaches – offensive coordinator Dave Patenaude, defense coordinator / safety coach Nathan Burton and cornerback manager Jeff Popovich – will not will be renewed.

“As I have begun to evaluate our program and identify the things we need to do to be more successful, I have decided that a change of leadership is needed on both sides of the ball,” said Collins. “I believe that new voices in these key positions on our staff will allow us to do a better job by consistently placing our players in the best position to meet the high standards we all have for our program.

“I thank Dave, Nate and Jeff for everything they and their families have put into this program,” continued Collins. “They put everything they had to build the foundation for Georgia Tech’s football future and I will be eternally grateful for their hard work, sacrifice, leadership and friendship. To all three I wish nothing but good luck and success for the future ”.
