Zelda: Majora’s Mask will arrive on Nintendo Switch Online in February

One of Link’s darkest adventures is coming to Nintendo Switch next month.

Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is the next Nintendo 64 game coming to Nintendo Switch Online. The classic title will join the service in February.

Once the game is available, players will be able to access it via the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online app, available for download exclusively for members of the Nintendo Switch Online plus Expansion Pack. This premium plan includes all the features of the online service. Nintendo base along with some additional perks, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Happy Home Paradise DLC and a library of classic games for N64 and Sega Genesis.

An individual subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online plus Expansion Pack costs $ 50 per year, while a family plan costs $ 80. The latter covers up to eight Nintendo Accounts across multiple systems.

Majora’s Mask will mark the twelfth game for N64 available via Nintendo Switch Online plus the Expansion Pack service. The plan was launched in late October with nine titles, including Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart 64. Paper Mario was later added in December, followed by Banjo-Kazooie earlier this week.

More N64 games are also on the way. Nintendo has already confirmed that it will add Pokemon Snap, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, F-Zero X, and more in the coming months. The company also plans to continue expanding the Sega Genesis library of the service.

Another game that all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can download for free is Tetris 99, a battle royale-style version of the classic puzzle game. That title will hold a new Maximus Cup event this weekend with a new theme based on Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
