Throughout my healthcare career, I have lived by the idea that if you do the right thing for the patient, the rest will (or should) fall into place. It is an idealist way of thinking in corporate America, but hey, why not? During my orientation, several years ago, that statement was said nearly word for word by a multitude of Jefferson Healthcare speakers, if all else fails, just do the right thing for the patients. I feel as though those words have been reflected by the day-to-day actions of this institution and by the people that work here.
