The Witcher 3: Wild Hunts version 4.0 update includes graphical updates and some new armor. Equally exciting, however, is the new cross-save feature.

How to cross save in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

No matter how many versions of The Witcher 3 you own, you will now be able to continue any game with the same save. All you have to do is log into your GOG account.

Logging in automatically sends your most recent save to the cloud. From there, you can access that save on any platform (once logged into the same account). The only two caveats here are that you can only have one cloud save active on any given platform, so you won’t be cross-platform saves, and any additional platforms will need to be on the same Witcher 3 version 4.0. This means you’ll only be able to switch from current generation console to PC.

Also, once you log in, you will receive the Dol Blathanna and White Tiger of the West equipment sets.
