Google Calendar users have reported a glitch in the Google Calendar mobile app. The glitch is creating random, non-existent all-day events based on users’ Gmail messages, according to a report from The Verge.

It appears that the Google Calendar mobile app collects information from emails, including delivery notifications, purchase receipts, and newsletters to create all-day events.
Google has yet to respond to a request for comment on the glitch, the report shared. However, users can go to Google settings and turn off Show events from Gmail to fix the issue.
Google also announced earlier last week that it is working on an artificial intelligence and machine learning model that can read doctors’ handwritten prescriptions that would otherwise be difficult to decipher.
The tech giant plans to make substantial investments to develop responsible AI and has invested $1 million in grants for the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, to establish the first-of-its-kind discipline center for responsible AI.
